I'm building the Super Reverb board. Before I order the Roach in R27 position, just wanted to check that this one ffom Watford Valves is correct? And is C20 a separate capacitor that has to be squeezed into the the same holes or is it integral in the roach? I've never used one before@

I found that the Genuine Fender Roach worked much better than the copies. It was not sealed as much so you could trim some of the shrink wrap around the legs and wrap them individually. This worked out much better. The price if you shopped it is about the same if you shop it.
I am building a Fender Deluxe Reverb using a Fender Board. I have the BOM but it does list a mode just optoisolator. Does this board use a Fender Style Roach optoisolator?. I have a replacement for a Fender Deluxe Reverb and it seems much larger. Has anybody used a Vishay chip type with 4 leads?
OK, great, will take a look!
Hey Andy!
That roach should be perfect! the cap in parallel is normally used to get rid of the ticking sound that you get from vibrato circuit, different values are suggested (either 0.01 or 0.02 uf), and also in different locations. The one in the layout is the most common.
