Mmany years ago, maybe 20 now, I built a Super Reverb from a Weber kit. I've never been totally happy with this amp and I've spent many hours tweaking, replacing critical components with better quality stuff, but still not happy.
When I spotted these AA PCBs I decided to gut the old Super R and start from scratch, except for the chassis and xformers. I bought the board, Mallory 150 caps, xicon 1 watt carbon film resistors, MOD electrolytic caps, Bournes pots, etc. I'm still waiting on a few parts but here's what it looks like now. I made a cardboard mockup so I can wire everything on the board and on the face before installing into the chassis. The chassis has the xformers, power inlet, speaker connections, tube sockets with some wiring complete. Pics of that later.
Yeah, there's a few missing components, they're on order.

I finished up the wiring. Next step is the run through the layout again, then go through the power up sequence. I'll use a light bulb limiter to prevent damage. I expect in a few days it'll be up and running,
Nice work
